Checking Cameras and Watching Whales

Took the kayak out and spent a couple days checking cameras I haven’t visited since early June.

I’ve had a camera here since 2014

This is a new spot. A bunch of trails meet here to cross a creek, but so far it hasn’t had much traffic compared to my other cameras in this area.

This is another spot where I have had a camera for a long time.

I’ve moved this camera around in this patch of timber several times, but I keep coming back to this spot.

I set this camera to record videos.

The paddle home was interesting, watched a sea lion eat breakfast and a pod of humpback whales search for herring.
