I covered a lot of ground the first 2 weeks of deer season to check several cameras that needed fresh batteries. I still managed to harvest a young buck for my (previously) empty freezer, and ran into a big one while hunting with my camera. Due to extremely wet weather, I haven’t risked opening many cameras over the last couple of months, but I took advantage of a break in the rain to visit 14 of them.
