Highlights from a few Hikes
For the first time in a few years I’ve been taking down most of my cameras this winter to dry them out for a month or 2 before I find new homes for them this Spring. Some of my cameras have been attached to the same tree for so long the strap is growing moss.

September 25-26
I spent Saturday looking for deer and checking trailcams, I didn’t see any bucks but managed sneak in close enough to bag 4 does with my camera in thick stuff. Sunday I dragged a herring around behind my kayak, fishing was slow but I managed to catch a few cohos

I didn’t see much wildlife this trip but got to know a couple areas a bit better, and found a few fresh buck rubs, showing the rut is starting though it probably won’t get serious for about 4 more weeks. Checked a few Cameras This camera watches an intersection in some timber.
