I switched this camera to record video, and next time I check it this creek will be full of salmon, and bears and eagles will be the main critters.
(Found one) This is my best spot in this area, I got over 1700 pictures from Late May to Aug. 21. It’s an intersection in some dense cover. This camera did pretty well, lots of different animals. This was a good spot especially for bears, but the lighting was too challenging for this camera so I moved it. These are the best of about 500 pictures.
August 15-16 I called in this little buck by saying Maaa in the back of my throat. I like to call this way in places that get a lot of hunting pressure and the deer are used to the standard Alaska style deer calls. I moved this camera to the small tree on the right, It’s going to be facing the sun in the afternoons later in the year which could be a problem but it’s cloudy here most of the time and this angle offers a lot better coverage.
